The first Tanzanian After School started in Tanzania in 2009. We offer you the opportunity to do your internship with them. The After School opens daily for children age 2 - 12. Between 3 - 6 pm children come together for playful learning. There is a diverse schedule with activities ranging from swimming, painting, cycling, and circle games to dance classes. The pedagogy of the After School is based on the Waldorf Pedagogy. The After School also organizes birthday parties for children and graduation events for schools. The After School is located in Dar es Salaam, at a beautiful spot near the beach.
The After School is looking for interns with a background in education or pedagogy who are interested to work with the children, do marketing for this new initiative and contribute their pedagogical knowledge.
