If you have affinity and experience in working with children, an internship program at a nursery or primary school in Dar es Salaam could be perfect for you. We have internships available at government schools but also at a special private school that uses the Waldorf pedagogy. In Waldorf schools children are educated to become themselves, creative human beings. The curriculum includes lots of creative subjects such as handworks, gardening, painting, and singing, often interwoven in the academic subjects.Interns are mostly needed in the Kindergarten, to assist the teachers in the different classes, and bring new ideas. A Waldorf background is preferred but not necessary.
The school works with interns that stay a minimum of two months.
