A possible internship in Tanzania's engineering sector could be for a mechanical contractor based in Dar es Salaam. This company is a contractor for fuel tanks, gas pipelines, building fuel depots and other construction works all over Tanzania and outside the country. The company has 4 engineers and 4 workers that are based in the office full time. Like most construction companies the work is done on project basis. For any of these projects the company is looking for technical students that can support in assessing new projects, discuss the quotes and create a project plan from the drawings that have been given. Length of the internship depends on the availability of projects. Transport costs can be discussed.
