This year's participants quickly became famous in Dar es Salaam. National TV came by every single day to take shots of our participants dancing ngoma, eating ugali or cycling through Mwalanyamala, one of the poor neighborhoods in Dar. Did you know Europeans can eat with their hands? Or that they can shake their hips like Africans? TVT decided to make a documentary about our program and followed us for some weeks, filming the Summer Camp and interviewing participants about their experience. So that the whole of Tanzania now knows how our participants shake their hips and speak Swahili. Also newspapers and the radio covered our project.
